What makes your company different from other web development firms?
At the top of the list is honesty and commitment. Unfortunately, this is not the case for many web development and design providers in the industry. When we witness such a practice, it strikes at our very soul. Right Turn Web's business model centers on moral, ethical, honest, and unselfish business practices. When our clients succeed, this is a direct reflection on us.

Do you have in-house developers and designers, or do you outsource these services?
Both. All projects start in-house, seeking economies of scale to best fit our clients' budgets and needs, while respecting everyone's time. Some aspects of a client's project may be outsourced to specialized providers when this is the most appropriate fit. Typically, when elements are outsourced, unlike other development firms, we do not upcharge to take extra profits. Our goal is to be a partner with our clients, not to profit as a middleman entity.

How do you stay updated on new technologies and best practices?
Technology is constantly changing. Staying up to date is both intentional and organic. At Right Turn Web, we dedicate a significant portion of our time to researching changes, updates, and trends. As a natural part of many workflows, there is a need for more specialized services. These provide a unique opportunity to learn, expand, and continue to provide our clients with top-tier services and knowledgeable insights unmatched by the vast majority of other providers in the industry.

Do you follow industry standards for accessibility and compliance (ADA, WCAG, GDPR, etc.)?
Yes, ADA and WCAG refer to accessibility. At Right Turn Web, we have keen insight and experience with those facing both general and specialized accessibility issues. We believe ALL should have access, to the extent of their abilities, and treated with consideration and respect. In cases where unique accessibility issues may exist within a client's target market, we work closely with our clients to understand these specific challenges and explore ways to adapt our services to meet these needs. ADA and WCAG serve as a baseline for accessibility. Whenever possible, we seek to raise the bar of accessibility for greater inclusivity.
GDPR refers to regulations that aim to protect privacy and security, primarily in the European Union. At Right Turn Web, we also adhere to these principles where necessary, possible, and relevant.
Core to these services is understanding where a business' customers are coming from and their online journey. Not all businesses need the same levels of accessibility or security. For example, static websites typically only require basic security measures to help prevent file hacking. Other instances that involve interactive use, member management, data collection, and payment processing involve much higher levels of security.

Do you offer both custom development and template-based solutions?
Yes. Using templates significantly enhances the efficiency and cost control that most businesses need in their budgetary considerations. However, most clients also require some level of specialization and custom development, marking the intersection between development and design. Most in the industry are NOT developers. They are design companies that market themselves as developers but can rarely offer a product that is beyond out of the box, to help set their clients apart from competitors. They offer cookie-cutter and often ineffective or incomplete solutions to complex processes. Where extra development is needed, most "web design" companies seek unvetted third-party providers and then pad their bottom line by acting as middlemen. Because most web companies have little to no real development experience, they rarely offer support when vulnerabilities are discovered, updates are needed, or when systems and services fail to meet needs and expectations.
